Connecting K9 trains and boards dogs at its place on Highway 457 in Alexandria. Training comes as two-week board and train programs that include six private sessions with the owner, one-hour private lessons, ongoing group obedience classes for dogs 12 weeks and older, and behavior modification for reactive or aggressive dogs. Group classes can lead to AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy and Canine Good Citizen titles.
Boarding and daycare include several potty breaks a day, one-on-one play with staff and, for boarders, trips to a seven-acre field. Dogs only mix with other dogs if the owner agrees. Training sessions and enrichment extras can be added to a stay.
