Terms of use

These terms cover your use of louisianapetservices.com (the "site"), run by Louisiana Pet Services, LLC ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What we are, and what we aren't

The site is a directory. It helps you find local pet service businesses in Louisiana and links you to them. We don't provide pet services ourselves, and we aren't a party to any agreement between you and a business. When you book, buy or sign up, you do it on the business's own site and under its terms, and the business is responsible for its services, prices, scheduling, refunds and conduct.

Listings

Listing details (services, prices, coverage areas, contact details and descriptions) come from each business's own website and other public sources, or from the business itself once its owner manages the listing. A person here reviews each listing before it goes live, and we try to keep listings current, but we don't guarantee that any listing is complete, accurate or up to date. Prices shown are starting prices; the business confirms your actual price (see "Prices" below).

A business doesn't have to have asked to be listed. Its owner can claim the listing, have it corrected, or have it taken down, from the listing's own page or by emailing us.

A listing isn't an endorsement or a guarantee of a business's work, licensing or insurance. Please use your own judgment, and ask the business anything that matters to you before you book.

Prices

Prices on the site are information, not offers. We don't sell the services listed, and a price shown here isn't an offer or a promise, from us or from the business, to provide a service at that price.

A price here is the starting price we found on the business's own website when we last checked it, or one its owner entered. It can be out of date or wrong: businesses change their prices, we recheck on a schedule and not continuously, and we can make mistakes reading a page. Your own price can also depend on things a starting price doesn't cover, such as the size of your pet or yard, how often you book and where you live.

The price the business gives you is the price. Confirm it with the business before you book. A business doesn't have to honor a price shown here, and we aren't responsible for any difference between a price shown here and what a business charges.

If a price here looks wrong, tell us and we'll fix it. A business's owner can correct it from the listing's own page.

Quote requests

When you send a quote request, we pass what you enter to the business you chose so they can reply to you directly. Only send information you're comfortable sharing with that business, and don't use the form to send anything unlawful, abusive or unrelated to the request. We may block requests that look like spam.

Lagniappe codes

Lagniappe codes are discounts offered by the businesses. Each business sets and honors its own codes, including any limits or end dates. We aren't responsible if a business changes or ends a code.

Using the site

You agree not to misuse the site, including by:

• scraping or copying listings in bulk, or using automated tools in a way that burdens the site (normal search engine and AI crawlers that follow our robots.txt are welcome);
• trying to get into accounts, admin areas or systems you aren't authorized to use;
• interfering with the site's security or operation; or
• submitting false information, including fake quote requests or false business details.

Business accounts

If you sign in to manage a business's listing, you're responsible for what you and your team publish and for keeping your Google or Apple account secure. Your listing must be accurate, and you must have the right to use any names, logos and images you provide. If the business is a Partner, its partner agreement with us also applies.

Our content

The site's design, text, logos and the way listings are organized belong to us or our licensors. Business names, logos and descriptions belong to the businesses. You may share links to the site and use it for your own, non-commercial purposes.

Links to other sites

The site links to businesses' websites and other sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices or terms.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will always be available or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Louisiana Pet Services, LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, for errors or out-of-date information in a listing (including prices), or for anything a listed business does or fails to do, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.
