About Paws on the Geaux LLC
Paws on the Geaux is a boarding and grooming facility in Lake Charles, run by owner Linda Hoke, a former veterinary technician and clinic manager. The business started in 2012 and opened its facility in 2020. Pets board in private rooms with a doggy door to an outdoor kennel during business hours, and each day includes a walk or time in an indoor playroom.
Grooming ranges from a bath to a full groom or a de-shedding treatment, with every pet dried by hand. The lobby has a small retail store with toys and grooming products. Boarders need current rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella vaccinations, and grooming appointments need a deposit.
