About The Blakemoore Bark

The Blakemoore Bark is a dog care business in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, next door to the Howlin' Wolf. At its facility it grooms, boards and runs daycare; its staff also walk dogs and sit with pets in the owner's home or hotel, and can collect a dog and bring it to the facility.

It keeps numbers low: four or five dogs a day for grooming and no more than 20 boarding on a night. Every groom and bath includes a nail trim and ear cleaning, and a separate paw treatment covers a pad shave, nail rounding and polish. Staff will give pills, drops and topical treatments during in-home visits.

Booking is online or by phone.
