Bark Avenue

Bark Avenue is a dog grooming salon and boutique on South College Road in Lafayette. Dogs are groomed in an open, cage-free space with separate bathing and drying rooms and a fenced green area for breaks.

There are three packages: a bath and blowout, a partial groom that also tidies the face, feet and sanitary area, and a full nose-to-tail cut styled to the owner's instructions. Every package includes ear cleaning, a gland check and a nail trim and file, with shampoo and conditioner picked for the dog's coat. Puppies usually start with a bath or mini groom, priced by size.

Visits are by appointment and take three to six hours depending on size, coat and service. Matted coats cost extra for the added prep time.
