Mill Pond Kennels is a family-owned dog training facility in Carencro. Training is offered three ways: a board and train program of four to six weeks, a day school, and 30-minute private lessons where the owner does the handling. Programs cover adult and puppy obedience, disc and dock diving, and the facility has a pool built for dogs.
Dogs in board and train are worked one on one each day, and owners get a video update every week. They describe their method as balanced: rewards first, then corrections, and they teach the use of an e-collar. Dogs that have trained there can also board there later.
