About Sit Happens Dog Training

Sit Happens Dog Training is a Lafayette trainer with its own training center on James Comeaux Road. Owner Vikki Bourgeois holds the CBCC-KA and CPDT-KA certifications and works with fearful and aggressive dogs as well as puppies and everyday manners.

Group classes run as four-week courses at the training center, with one-off workshops and puppy play sessions on the same calendar. Private lessons cover obedience and behavior problems such as separation anxiety, reactivity and resource guarding, and can be held at your home, at the center or in a public place. There is also a two-week board and train for young puppies, a hybrid program for puppies five months and under, and online training.

The center is open by appointment only.
