Upward Dog Training and Counseling is the practice of Gallivan Burwell, a New Orleans dog trainer who works privately in clients' homes. He trains without force or fear and specializes in shy and fearful dogs.
He also takes puppies for training and socialization, teaches everyday manners such as sit, stay, recall and loose-leash walking, and works on problem behaviors like chewing, jumping up and house soiling. He holds the CTC from the Academy for Dog Trainers and the CPDT-KA and CBCC-KA certifications.
