About Petit Pet Care

Petit Pet Care is a one-person pet sitting and dog walking business started in 2012. It takes dogs under 40 pounds, cats, birds (chickens included), fish and small animals such as rabbits, ferrets and hamsters; it does not take reptiles.

Pet sitting visits are at the customer's home and include feeding, litter, a walk or yard time for dogs, and bringing in the mail and watering plants. Medication, including insulin injections, is given at no extra charge. Dog walks and let-outs run on weekdays, one household's dogs at a time.

The service area is part of the East Bank of Orleans Parish only: from Henry Clay Avenue to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, between the river and Fontainebleau/South Broad. New customers start with a free 30-minute meet and greet, booked at least two weeks ahead.
